How much does bookkeeping cost?
Every business is different, so we price to your needs and your transaction volume. I'm behind on my books. Can you still help?
Catch-up and cleanup is a core part of what we do, and there is no judgment here. We'll catch up months or even years of backlog, fix miscategorized transactions, reconcile every account, and get you tax-ready. From there, most owners move onto monthly service so they never fall behind again.
Do I have to use QuickBooks?
We work primarily in QuickBooks Online and it is what we recommend. Mark is an advanced certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, so you get strong support for QuickBooks Online users, from setup and cleanup to training. If you are on something else, tell us and we'll talk through your options.
Are you local, national, or offshore?
Tidy Ledgers is based in Idaho Falls and serves clients nationwide through secure cloud-based accounting software. You work directly with Mark, reach a real Idaho phone number, and hear back from a person who knows your books, not a rotating call center.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. We work month to month. Cancel any time with 30 days' notice, and your books are always yours to keep, during and after. We'd rather earn your business every month than trap you in a contract.
Do you file my taxes?
We keep your books accurate and tax-ready and work alongside your CPA or tax preparer so filing is simple. We handle the filings that go with bookkeeping, like Idaho sales and use tax and payroll filings (W-2s and 1099s). We do not prepare business or personal income tax returns, but we make sure whoever does has clean numbers to work from.
